Jackie Blystone’s drug case: Bad Law in progress.
Here is: 1 a list of our court papers and how they were ignored; and 2 Jackie’s story.
The story begins around February or March 2004. Jackie appears in court on another matter and is informed that she must appear in court to be charged with a crime. She appears. They accuse her of possession with intent to sell. Jackie has previously met Lawyerdude and has his telephone number. She calls Lawyerdude. She meets with Lawyerdude. Here is the story of her case.
Our list of court pleadings is at www.lawyerdude.8k.com/6508.html
Skip directly to the Chronology/ narrative story of this case:
List of Players: Here are some of the players in this comedy of errors:
Judge Roland Purnell presided over some of the brainless court session. He is in court 11. Purnell is a former FBI agent and former lackluster local prosecutor. He speaks in a dull monotone. He is a career bureaucrat and is a perfect example of the Lawrence Peter principle which states that he has risen to his level of incompetence and will spend the rest of his career there - rather than at the FBI where such a dull person belongs and would do less harm.
Judge Bruce Clark presided over some of the brainless court sessions. Judge Clark is a very congenial guy - which is why he works the “early disposition calendar.” He is in court 12. He retires this year. I have appeared before Judge Clark for the last 25 years - a quarter century. He is the one who granted my “astronaut motion” when I was in jail in 1999. I have paid for the transcript to this case but in 5 years I have yet to receive the transcript.
Judge Donald D. Coleman presided on July 6th.
